This photo has been on my wish list for a long time. I knew the location (Reitdiephaven - Groningen - NL), but just never went there. Until that early Sunday morning, April 5, 2015. Easter Sunday. I hoped, of course, that the light would be great and that some clouds would be passing over in the sky. I was planning for a long exposure with either my little or big stopper. The Saturday before, my weather-app predicted I would be in for a treat. Around 6 am I arrived at the scene, still completely covered in darkness. So, coffee first and after that I took my position and checked the sky. No clouds at all! Hmmm. But, no wind either. And that meant great reflections in the water. I exposed several times, trying a different compositions. But I kept returning to this, sort of, symmetrical composition.
