When the water go away, the caver can explore these dark places ------------------------------------------- This photo was taken in one of the deep cave Cocalière galleries, these galleries to the rainy season completely fill with water which explains the form of errosion on the walls. The blue backlight is natural, it is derived from the saturation of water in air (close to 100%) The Cocalière cave (a shell or hollow filled with ivy), is one of the many caves on the south-east border between the Cévennes and Provence and has given its name to a vast underground system covering 25 km. One part accessible to the public covers about 1 km. I recommend you visit if you go there. Thank you for reading these few words.
