El tiempo no es otra cosa que un conjunto de momentos a los que nos gustaría dar un cierto orden y sentido, a los que querríamos asignar un significado unitario y coherente. Sin embargo, dichos momentos, aunque imperceptibles en nuestro discurrir diario, disponen de sus propias formas, que, no por efímeras, son más simples. Con esta serie, intento rescatar del olvido de nuestro devenir parte de esos breves momentos ausentes en nuestra visión del mundo. Son como pequeños eslabones básicos que, una vez aislados, se erigen en nuevas estructuras complejas. Creo que resulta sugerente ver cómo ciertas imágenes se vuelven a asomar en nuestra mente a partir de la desestructuración de su cadencia, presentándose a nuestros ojos como formas nuevas, susceptibles de ser descubiertas o redescubiertas. Esto es lo que pretende mostrarnos “Instantes de levedad y una cuchara”: momentos que deberían haber transcurrido efímeros y que han quedado atrapados en el tiempo gracias a la fotografía. Llegados a este punto, las imágenes que aquí aparecen se muestran altivas a nuestra visión, recreando situaciones más allá de lo visto, para poder anclarlas en nuestro universo visual. Por eso, dos elementos simples como la cuchara y el humo, que a priori podrían no establecer conexión entre sí, se aúnan para formar nuevas situaciones que nuestra ingenua mirada, como niños mirando las nubes del cielo, disfraza de velos de novia o cualquier otro tipo de recuerdo agazapado en nuestra memoria visual.
