Peter Elgar
- Lives (lived) in Australia
For me, it's mostly about trying to evoke some mood and feeling in my images. Monochrome generally seems to work better in creating mood, but in some scenes colour adds that pop and wow factor that makes you sit up and take notice. I love looking at the work of many artists on this site whose images just take my breath away. Their work is inspiring and gives me a goal to work for.
I have only been into digital photography for a few years and my "real" job is accounting...unfortunately too much creativity in that profession would ultimately lead to doing hard time somewhere unpleasant.
The more I learn about photography, and post production techniques, the more I realise I have to learn. But it's the joy of that journey that makes it so addictive.
The pictures are predominantly assigned to the art direction Photography.
Peter Elgar was mainly concerned with the following motives: Nude.
The art works of the artist are dominated by the colors gray, black and brown.
