The Everything Is Beautiful Pop Art

Andy Warhol was an American artist known for his pop art. He was born on August 6, 1928 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and died on February 22, 1987 in New York City.

Warhol studied at Carnegie Mellon University and began his career as a commercial illustrator in the 1950s. He quickly became known for his distinctive illustrations and commercial art and eventually established his own studio, "The Factory," in New York City.

In the 1960s, Warhol became famous for his artwork that focused on everyday objects and celebrities. His technique of serigraphy, also known as silkscreen printing, allowed him to produce art prints in large numbers, democratizing the art market.

According to his motto "Everything is beautiful," the probably best-known Pop artist depicted the surface of everyday consumer objects (soup cans, detergent), but also idols of modern media society (Marylin Monroe, Elvis Presley) as color variations and series, which he thus elevated to the status of works of art, but ironized them at the same time.

So, for Warhol, the world becomes the surface from which he chooses a piece. And for Warhol, the world is everything that is reflected in the media. Only when the world is captured in newspapers, television, or cameras does his gaze fall upon it and receive his attention.

Warhol also produced many canvas paintings, including his famous work "Campbell's Soup Cans," which consists of 32 canvas paintings, each showing a different soup can. Many of his canvas paintings later became framed images and are now coveted works of art.

Warhol also worked in other media such as film, music and books. He was influential in the development of the Pop Art movement and is considered one of the most important artists of the 20th century.

Although Warhol has been deceased for over three decades, his legacy remains as one of the most important artists of the 20th century. His art prints, canvas paintings, and framed images remain in high demand, and his work can be seen in many prestigious museums around the world.

The pictures are predominantly assigned to the art direction Pop Art.
The art works of the artist are dominated by the colors white, pastel and red.

Art Prints

We deliver exclusively art prints from well-known art publishers in brilliant quality, such as the art print »Campbell's Soup I: Tomato, 1968« from Andy Warhol. Classic art prints are normally produced by offset or screen printing. In this case, often also spot colours and embossments are used.

Graphic Arts

Prints or graphics, often also called prints or original graphics, are always created with the collaboration of the artist as prints of special quality. The printing process used by the artist is chosen in such a way that the artwork is shown to its best advantage, as for example in »Campbell's Soup - Tomato« by Andy Warhol.

Stretcher on canvas

Our canvas prints are handmade in our own workshop. Either the canvas print or the art print laminated on a canvas is stretched onto a quality keyless frame. Perfectly wedged and provided with a suspension, the canvas image can be hung directly. Optionally, we also offer each canvas picture framed, i.e. with floater frame. »Flowers, 1964 (1 ed., 1 pink, 2 yellow)« of Andy Warhol as a canvas image also beautifies your home.

Framed pictures

We frame almost every picture. You can choose from many different frames. Passepartouts are just as much a part of your choice as are various options for surface protection. So »Marilyn, 1967 (on blue ground)« of Andy Warhol becomes a highlight for your living room or bedroom.
