I am a passionate photographer living in Cairns, Tropical Far North Queensland, Australia. Originally from Britain, I have been living in Australia for the past 20 years. I have always loved photography but over the last 6 years it has become a major interest. My initial favourite subject was nature, especially macro. Over recent times I have started to try other genres and styles - I enjoy abstract, architecture, still life, liquid art and creative work. I like to view (and create my own) images that are quirky and humorous, often from everyday scenes or ideas. I am not sure where this journey will lead me, but it is exciting and I always strive to improve.
